This transcription for clarinet in A and piano was first published in the early 19th century. No transcriber’s name appeared on the original publication.In this edition of the transcription, published in 2005, thesolo partis for standard clarinet rather than basset clarinet. Articulation is according to the Urtext principle and may require some supplementary markings for practical performance. For editorial comments, the editor’s Preface refers the player to the version with string parts (Breitkopf KM2289).
