Larsen Virtuoso extra-long viola strings are more focused and allow your instrument to achieve a greater volume. The set was developed as an extension of the success of the Larsen Original viola A string. Virtuoso extra-long strings come in medium gauge, and produce a rich, nuanced sound. The set fits 16-1/2″ or larger instruments, and includes the Virtuoso D, G and C strings, and the Original A string. The D, G and C have a multi-filament nylon core wound with silver and a ball end. The A has a solid steel core wound with stainless steel, and a ball or loop end.
