Pari intervallo – Organ

Description

As with many of Part’s deceptively simple works, Pari intervallo has become available in a number of arrangements for various instruments and ensembles. The organ solo led to piano duet or piano duo, and was readily translated to recorder quartet, which begat saxophone quartet. Previously available only in the UE organ collection The New Organ Album, Volume 2 (UE017480), the solo organ version of Pari intervallo is now available separately for the first time. The haunting work features a constant third as it moves up and down the scale in mesmerizing fashion.
