Description
The 50 Bassoon Studies for Advanced Players, op. 8, no. 2 continues where the Weissenborn Method for Beginners (op. 8, no. 1) left off, with an understanding of bassoon technique, time signatures, and key signatures. From this starting point, these etudes introduce virtually the entire range of classical- and romantic-era expression as well asfurther challenges to technique. These etudes vary in length from roughly 1/3 of a page towards the beginning of the book, with some etudes as long as 2 pages near the end of the book. They include every key, and an enormous range of dynamics, articulations, and other expressive nuances.
