Great World Percussion Instrument for Classrooms
These kalimbas, or “thumb pianos,” come in two different sizes, each with nine steel-plated keys. Small is constructed of solid natural Ashwood, Large is constructed of Asian Oak with a walnut matte finish. Large version has a hollow body and features sound chambers and wah-wah effect.
- Small (T-THPS) or Large (T-THPL) size
- Large size has a hollow-bodied sound chamber that can produce a wah-wah effect
- Place your kalimba on a drum such as a djembe or conga for additional volume/projection!
