Description
Based upon the classic carol by John Henry Hopkins describing the ancient pilgrimage of the three wise men to Bethlehem, the meditative opening of this grade 4 setting segues elegantly into a contrasting middle section, followed by a powerful conclusion depicting the Magi’s arrival at their holy destination. Instrumentation includes: 2 Bb trumpets, horn in F, trombone and tuba. Duration 3:15.
