: Buster’s Bounce is an energetic solo for the early intermediate pianist. Purpose: The piece was inspired by Buster Keaton, the great silent film comedian. My intent was to instill a dramatic flare to the music, with each section reflecting a different mood. Suggestions for Instruction: Try to imagine yourself accompanying a silent film. What actions might be happening on the movie screen as you play? Be sure to emphasize the left hand melody in the first and final sections while keeping the right hand chords light. Key: C minor
